As a corticosteroid, Furamist Nasal Spray eases symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis. It relieves symptoms like runny, itchy, stuffy nose, watery eyes like allergic reactions. Fluticasone Furoate is a prime component of Furamist Nasal spray, an anti-allergic agent. By blocking substances that cause inflammation during an allergy, it treats the condition.

Furamist Spray is also available as an inhaled corticosteroid to prevent and manage symptoms of asthma. But it is not recommended for use as the primary treatment for asthma. In addition, it is not recommended for use in children below the age of 4 years old.

How to use it?

Furamist Nasal Spray is a prescription medicine, and you have to use it as directed by your doctor. Would you please read all the instructions given on the patient's leaflet before you start using it? Take the doses at fixed time intervals regularly and finish the entire treatment course. Before you use it, Clean your nose by blowing it gently, and you can use a clean handkerchief or tissue for it.

Keep your head in the upright position when you take medicine. Squeeze the bottle gently and inhale the medicine inwards by closing the other nostril. Remove the tip from the nostril and repeat the same method with the other nostril. Do not miss or forget to take any dose and consume the exact number of doses each day.

Side Effects of Furamist Nasal Spray

Here are major & minor side effects that Furamist Nasal Spray may include during its use. not everyone experiences them; they are rare and only seen in few people. They are mild, but if they get serious, please consult a doctor immediately.

Precaution Advice

• Before using it, make sure you do not have allergic to Fluticasone Furoate; if you have, do not use it.
• Fluticasone Furoate may make you feel dizzy or blur your vision; do not drive if you get such symptoms.
• Tell your doctor if you have any operation or nose injury, or infection before starting using it.
• Fluticasone Furoate may cause growth retardation in children. Thus, it is necessary to keep monitoring children's height if they are going with long-term treatment.
