What is Letroz 2.5mg?

Letroz 2.5mg tablets treat certain types of breast cancer. It also helps to prevent cancer from returning and slow down their growth. Some breast cancer grows faster with the help of a natural hormone called estrogen. Letrozole decreases the amount of estrogen that the body makes. It reverses or slows down the growth of these breast cancers. Your doctor may also prescribe this medicine during surgery or radiation.
