As an anti-allergic medicine, Olopat 0.1% eyedrop helps to treat allergic conjunctivitis. It alleviates itching, redness, swelling, and watering of the eyes. These symptoms usually caused due to pollen, dust, animal fur, and other allergens. Olopatadine is present as an active indigent in Olopat 0.1% eye drop. It belongs to a group of medicines known as Antihistamines which blocks histamine. Decreasing the production of certain chemicals that causes inflammation of the eyes, Olopat Eye Drop treats the condition.

Olopat 0.1% eye drop is not recommended in children below three years of age. However, children above three years of age can use Olopat Eye Drop at the same dose as adults under the supervision of a doctor.

How to use  Olopat 0.1% Eye Drop?

Follow all the instructions given by your doctor while using Olopat 0.1% Eye Drop in your eyes. Use it regularly at an evenly spaced time without missing any dose. It is for external use and taken as drops in your eyes. Please read and check the label for directions before you start using the medicine. Hold the dropper close to your eyes without touching the eye part with it. Gently squeeze the droppers and put the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra fluid and repeat the same process if you are using it for both eyes.
