What is Pan 20mg?
Pan 20 mg is also called a proton pump inhibitor, which works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in our stomach.
Pan 20mg is used to treat damage caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD), a condition in which excessive acid flows backward from the stomach. This causes heartburn and possible injuries in the tube between the throat and stomach called the esophagus, which can occur in adults and children of age 5 and older.
This medicine reduces acid production and prevents problems of stomach ulcers and other acid-related problems.
How does it work?
Pan 20mg contains pantoprazole as an active ingredient which is a proton pump inhibitor. When the acetylcholine, histamine, and gastrin can increase acid production with the increasing activity of the proton pump.
It produces an excessive amount of acid in the stomach but the proton pump inhibitor blocks the final step of the acid production and therefore it heals the damage and prevents acid-related infection.
Dosage Instruction
Pan 20mg tablet is a prescription medicine which is prescribed for a long term treatment of 8 weeks and must be consumed in exact dose and duration without disturbing its dosage amount and do not skip any of its doses to get the proper benefits and relief from the symptoms.
Pan 20mg is swollen a whole with water and can be taken with or without having a meal.
