About Lan 15mg
Lan 15 mg is a prescription drug used for healing and relieving the symptoms of duodenal and stomach ulcers. It helps to treat heartburn and other symptoms that occur due to gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD), which is caused by an excessive amount of acid production in our stomach which flows back from the stomach and causes heartburn and other infection. It also contains a rare condition called Zollinger- Ellison syndrome which is treated by Lan 15mg capsules.
How does it work?
Lan 15mg contains lansoprazole as an active ingredient which is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the final step of the acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ATPase enzyme system present in the gastric parietal cell. where both basal and stimulated acid are inhibited which brings a decrease in acids producing and treats symptoms effectively.
Dosage Instruction
Take Lan 15mg exactly as your doctor advised you. Do not change the dosage amount and it can take before a meal and 30 minutes after taking a meal. Lan 15mg comes in form of oral capsules take, without breaking or crushing, and take it with a glass of water. Do not take two at the same time and follow the prescription strictly if you are advised to have Lan 15mg for a long-term treatment course do not miss any dose to get the proper benefits of this drug.
